New Heating Elements

Extended bulb life of 30,000 hours.

The tubes are longer and the new 115 volt tubes, vs. the old 60 volt tubes, are more efficient producing 4% more of optimal infrared frequencies for maximum health or therapeutic value.

The new elements operate at 115 volts instead of the industry standard of 60 volts because of the increased efficiency. Most electricians will agree with the math on this figure because they know what happens to efficiency when the operating voltage is increased.

The spiral metal refractor was removed from the elements. The refractor is an off-the-shelf item that is used in industrial applications to enhance diffusion of the infrared energy, however, through extensive research and testing, new models of CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heaters utilize a different process to diffuse the infrared energy throughout the entire heating chamber. The new CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heaters do not contain the refractors that were previously surrounding the elements of the heater, even though Bruce Searle, the developer of the CZ Infrared™ BLUE EDITION heater owns a patent on the heating coil itself.
